What is your top 3?#

First off, thanks to Dustin for letting me post this here. This morning on Mike & Mike in the Morning on ESPN radio they had a discussion about how in your lifetime, between the ages of 8-25 you get 3 great albums. I think you can look a this in two ways. Three great albums of that time frame or three great albums that defined you between those years. I was thinking more of the latter. So anyway, I have now become obsessesd with knowing what other people think on this topic.

So I pose this question to you all...What would be your top 3 albums released between the ages of 8-25? It's not as easy as it sounds.

A few stipulations. The album must be released between the dates of when you were 8 and 25 and your list can not include compilations, soundtracks or greatest hits packages.

My list

  • Run DMC - King of Rock (1985)
  • Beastie Boys - Check Your Head (1992)
  • Operation Ivy - Energy (1990)

Please post your own list in the comments. I sent out an email posing this question to a bunch of folks. I will post an update with their lists later.

Ron
